Olympic Lugers Tap into Analytics

I know I am getting ready to watch the 2018 Winter Olympics, are you?  One thing that I am looking forward to this year  is learning more about athletes and teams using analytics to hone in on their skills and what could hopefully lead to a win.

Check out this article about Canadian lugers working to shave off fractions of seconds by studying and modeling luge tracks.  Over the next few years it seems like analytics won’t be applied only to lugers; SAS and the Olympic Committee have created a sponsorship  so statistics can be applied to other sports, too.

Ready to take analytics into your fundraising work? The BWF Insight website is a great place to learn more about fundraising analytics and what predictive modeling can do for your organization.
